Its been a "Frozen" week

You know, "For The First Time In Forever", I have a pretty sweet missionary ward. They always are letting us know how they can help others all that. It is pretty sweet! I really want to go outside and ask people "Do You Want to Build A Snowman?", but I bring up the gospel instead you know. Still, there are sometimes where I hold back on what I want to say. But I know I just have to "Let It Go", and then I just "can't hold it back anymore". I may be in this area "In Summer", unless I get a random transfer notice. I think by then my "Frozen Heart" will be melted. I think I need a little "Fixer Upper" my companion so that he knows what missionary work is all about. One time we were out talking to people and this girl was just shutting us down with whatever we were saying and saying that we are wrong. After we talked to her, I was thinking "Reindeer(s) are better than people", but maybe I just had a bit of Frozen in my head. I was reading my scriptures and saw how Christ loves his people. "Love is an open door"!

Alright Alright, I am done with all the Frozen references. But to tell the truth, this week was pretty brutal. It did end off well with our baptism that I didn't do too much in, but it was still a happy experience for all of us. Nikole, she was investigating the church for a year. No I did not participate. Like I said, I didn't do much with her. Lots and lots of people came though. It was a party!

My companion and I are having a really difficult time getting along. He thinks he knows everything and won't open to my counsel. Hopefully, he will actually listen one of these days.

The members here are pretty dang sweet. I can't complain and I get along with them so much! The children are so darling and it sucks that I can't do too much with them, but I do what I can to build a relationship with them and it is sweet.

Well, we have heard something exciting is happening tomorrow in Zone Conference. I don't know exactly what it is, but I have a hunch what it might be. We shall see :)

Love you all and take care!

And so ends another Mother's Day

I got transferred up to Calgary this last transfer. I am in the south part of Calgary with my new companion, Elder Corning. He is ok, and I am grennie busting him which means I am his next companion after his trainer. It was a tough weekend because when I got here I got sick and couldn't do much. I had a lot of homesickness during those times, but I am doing better than I was.

Yesterday was Mothers day and I hope all of you who get this email was able to show how much you love your mom and was able to talk to her as well. Mothers are amazing! Where would be without mothers? Well, I could name a pluthera amount of things. ;) But anywho, we cannot stress how important mothers are and how mothers will be at all times. Let us remember to love out mothers and thank them each day for all they do.

It is so odd to be in Calgary now since I was in the south part of my mission the entire time except for now. It is like a whole new world and it is kinda freaking me out. But I guess that happens to all when they go to a new area and experience what it is like to be there. I hope this doesn't turn out like my third transfer with my second companion.

I was going to send you guys some photos of our last area, but I forgot my camera today so I guess that is going to wait till next week. I am sorry! I will also be sure to take some pictures up here if I see anything that is worth picture worthy. My companion I had two transfers ago is here in this zone and he and I get well along with another. Also, as well as my district leader was someone in my district two transfers ago. AS WELL, someone who was in my very first district is in my zone. So it is good to know all who is out here and will probably know a whole bunch of people at the end of my mission.

Well, that is all I got to report on this crazy week. Hopefully, I will get to like my companion...soon. And also get a positive attitude in this area and being another senior companion. Love you all! See ya!

The PURGE!!

Holy Cow we are getting purged! My mind is totally blown right now! I am just losing it!! GAH! We got the call yesterday that both me and Elder Robinson are both leaving our area! We were both excited, but pretty dang freaked out! We have so much cleaning to do it is not even funny!!
We mostly spent this week just doing service which always helps when we don't have anything to do. Service helps fill in the times that we don't know what to do. This service was extremely hard though because we were doing demolition. We were tearing up floors and all that and it made me so sore for some odd reason. Still, I liked it.
To be honest, I am kinda happy that we are leaving this YSA ward. It was really fun and all and I loved the members, but the work was hard to do here. Now hopefully I will go to a great ward with family and all. I am still going to miss all.
On facebook you can see my pictures I recently took. We were with two members named Natalie Harris and Graham. They are both hilarious people and we had one final dinner with them before we said good-bye. It was amazing! I am going to miss them. I am also going to take some pictures of our mission mom in this area who is Sister Sannes. She was awesome! She is also hilarious and we will miss her dearly! I will post some pictures of me and her and all the family. The family was awesome and I could relate to them so much!
So next week is mothers day eh? That will be pretty dang sweet to talk to my family. To be honest, it felt like it was last week when I talked to you guys. Maybe you guys have gone through some changes since then. I can't wait! I don't know what time will work best for us. Hopefully I can talk to you before we skype.

Well, I got to go get some cleaning done with our pad and car for transfers. Love you all!

This week just sucked!

This entire week was just horrible! Not just work wise, but everyone in our YSA is leaving! I am going to miss them soooooo much! I loved talking with them and hanging out with them and now they are going to different areas! BLAH! This is the last week of this transfer and I will probably leave this week so if I am getting package, it better be soon or I may miss it if I am going somewhere else. Still, I feel like I may stay for one more transfer here, but who knows.

Anywho, we been focusing more on less-actives here because our two recent investigators have been dropped. Andrea is "dropped" because here member boyfriend is telling us to give her space so that she can think about our discussions and all. So we won't be seeing much of her. Our other one is Kevin who was new last week, but we heard he also is moving somewhere else this week. Dang it! Everything that is about to happen that is good just gets turned around and goes the opposite way! It sucks!

To be honest, at sometimes I feel like I am done with this ward. It has tried my patience a ton and I don't get mad that easily. Gah! If I am staying, I am going to probably tell all the ward members that we need desperate help for the work.

Our district is still getting pretty dang close. I cannot complain. We have fun when we spend time with each other and it is awesome! We have our laughs here and there and I love it. It is going to be sad IF I do leave this next week. This last week did go pretty dang fast. I wonder why as you go longer in the mission, the time seems to go faster and faster! It may be because we are just getting used to doing it over and over and over and over.

Yesterday was super brutal! We were pretty busy with church and stuff, but couldn't meet with anyone. And at the end of the day I lost my wallet and I was stressing out like crazy! They say that if you stress out then it is a good thing because it shows you are alive, but I don't like this amount to stress. :/ I am sure I will calm down when I either find something to do or move to another area.

Sorry for the bad report this week. This week was probably the worst week ever, but I am moving on and I am sure that no week can suck this bad right? :/. See you all and love ya!

The mission just keeps getting harder...-_-

Looks like everyone is leaving this area because of the summer which is bad. I am going to miss people so much here. But we may get some few new people in our ward because people will also be moving here in the summer. But they still can't replace the people hear before them. :(

Anywho, we found a new investigator for the moment. Turns out he is also moving sometime in the summer which makes me kinda more depressed, but oh well. Easy come easy go.

Our district is getting as awesome as ever. We enjoy each other so much as the pictures you may see on facebook. I am just putting them on facebook to store them, but we haven't got the ok quite yet for facebook, but it is coming very soon. It is just something I do. I don't trust the electronics I have to store my photos so I am posting them on the web so that I do not lose them forever over some accident.

My interview with president was swell. We talked about a few things and it was sweet. I can go to the temple...as long as a member takes us and we can't find a member to take us quite yet. I hope we can sometime. I haven't gone to the temple since before my mission and I really want to go there again sometime. there are two temples in our area and I haven't gone to either of them yet. Anywho, I also asked President about why the mission was changing soooo much! It is crazy how much it changes. He just told me their are different ways that we can touch peoples lives.

Andrea has not contacted us yet on how her reading the Book of Mormon is going...I think she's either busy or trying to get away from us. Spooky.

That is cool that my package is coming. I hope it comes not right at the end of the transfer so I can use the stuff before I pack up and go to a new area if I am getting transferred. I can also see that I am becoming a better missionary than I thought I was. I can talk to people easily now than before. I guess that will help me pick up a girl when I get home ;), Just kidding!

This week might fly by again like any other week. It is weird that about 4 weeks is a month and the weeks fly by! Anywho, I got to go! I will send another email next week! Love you!

Another fast week flew by and I am 8 today!

Jeez!! Can the mission fly by any faster?! That was a pretty dang fast week!!! I can't believe that it has already happened for 8 months. 4 more and I am halfway done!!! Freak!!!

Well this week we try to focus on finding. Not only is it difficult to find investigators here, but it is becoming even more difficult. Every one is leaving because school is getting out and the people that usually talk to us are leaving. We are very likely to get purged at the end of this transferred since they are combining the YSA wards together and they only really need just one set of elders there. But we are doing as much as we can!

My companion and I are getting along so well! We talk about people we know at home quite often! It is crazy how much we can talk about with people at home. We get along so well and with our district as well!

President Interviews are actually this week and I am going to talk to him about a couple things and see how he answers to my questions. I love my President however. I heard that he does have 10 kids which is...wow! He is someone I can really open up to and that is crazy that I can do that with him.

The work has been...flowing. Trying to set up an lesson with Andrea. We committed her to read the Book of Mormon with only her Heavenly Father. We want to see how well she is doing with that.

It is crazy how much our mission is changing. We are changing how we do goals and all that. I am just overflowed with all this change and it kinda stresses me out like being senior companion. I still can't believe I am in charge. I mean, I was in charge a lot when I was with my friends of telling them what we were doing, but here it is a whole different story. Its like being in charge is a pretty freakin important deal here! Like...my salvation depends on it :/. GAH!!!!

Anywho, I think that is all I have to say about this week. Hopefully my stress will die down next week. Till then, see ya later!!!

Well...

This week was pretty difficult to find work. Finals is about to start and people usually are hard to talk to because of it. However, we are doing our best out here so that we can talk to people.

We did have a do or die lesson with our investigator Andrea! GAHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I wanted to die at the begining of that lesson because we watched this weird anti Mormon thing that just...was horrible. Not as in horrible as faith shakening, but like bad as in they didn't do a very good job. After we explained that it wasn't important that she learned those kind of things. We told her the thing she really needs the most is the read the Book of Mormon with Heavenly Father and Him alone so that she may be able to know if it is true or not. It was a good thing we brought our ward mission leader with us because he was really powerful when he was explaining stuff to her. It was probably way better than what I could have said. We are still going to work with her though and see if she needs any more help.

That one referral I talked about with the Zone leaders gave us, yeah she got dropped. She didn't want to get baptised anymore which is pretty sad. I have a feeling it was because I spelled her name wrong. She is pretty easily offended and I feel bad that I did that. Like I am the reason why she didn't want to get baptised.

This area is getting pretty hard to work in. YSA can be fun, but it is difficult to find people to talk to. I am trying to be an example to my companion. It is tough being senior companion making as much decisions as I do. :/

Elder Robinson, I didn't know him before no. We didn't know each other at all. We do know people in common though. We do like much of the same music and such. We are both pretty chill. We do hang with the district and give them rides quite often because we have the most clicks. Our district is pretty dang tight.

Well, other than that we are getting interviewed by President soon. I guess I will see you guys next week! Love ya!
